One of the biggest beauty struggles is building your skin into the healthiest condition it could be. With your skin being powerless, glowy, and translucent, we like to call this “glass skin”.

What is glass skin?

This ideal beauty trend originated in Korea, where many people keep their skin looking clear, luminous, and smooth, replicating the appearance of an actual piece of glass. Taking care of your skin to aim towards glass skin will help you obtain a great complexion and youthful complexion. If you enjoy wearing makeup, having glass skin will give you a dewy and smooth makeup appearance. What does a glass skin routine look like?

  1. Double cleanse with a can oil cleanser or micellar water, followed by a foam wash. I recommend opting for a product that won’t clog your pores or strip away the natural oils on your skin.
  2. Exfoliate. Your skin can accumulate impurities so exfoliating 2-3 times a week will do the job!
  3. Use a toner. This step is essential in restoring your skin’s pH levels and allowing better absorption for the next skin care products you’re going to apply next.
  4. Use a serum. A serum is essential in achieving glass skin to maintain hydration, protect your skin from free radicals, and reduce signs of aging. How to naturally achieve glass skin?

Eating a healthy meal is important for your overall skin appearance. For glass skin, you can consume lots of fruits and vegetables that contain antioxidants such as spinach, kale, pepper, grapes, or sweet potatoes.
