Are you good in bed? By that I mean, do you get enough sleep each night? Most people don’t, because they don’t realize how important sleeping is to their health. It’s almost like not sleeping has become a fad — people brag about how tired they are, or how many all-nighters they pull each week. Get it together people!
The amount of sleep you get affects your health, behavior, and attitude. Sleeping is a time for the body to rest and recharge from the day. Any damaged cells can begin to recover and repair themselves. Your brain gets a break from the constant whirlwind of thought processes it has throughout the day. Why would you keep yourself from such a great experience?
Here are a few tips on how you can achieve great sleep:
1. Power down the electronics:
The light from your phone can distract your brain from it’s goal of falling asleep. Turn off your phone, computer, and TV at least 30 minutes before you go to bed so you can relax and go to bed!
2. Listen to whatever soothes you:
Some people like to sleep with complete silence. Others like to listen to white noise. Find what works for you, and go with it!
3. Prep your skin before bed:
Make sure you have a great nightly skincare routine that you stick to every night. Cleanse, moisturize, and use retinol! Try my Diamond Line Refine to use nightly – it will tighten pores and help with fine lines and wrinkles!
Use these tips to sleep soundly! Sweet dreams!
